WeatherMaster® self-adhesive underlayment features an SBS-modified asphalt membrane, providing a secondary layer of waterproofing protection against damage caused by extreme weather. This specialty underlayment is designed to go under several types of steep-slope roofing materials, including asphalt shingles, metal roofs and tile.
A proprietary fiberglass mat reinforced, SBS-modified asphalt makes WeatherMaster® Ice & Water ideally suited for continuous waterproofing protection against ice dams and wind-blown rain year after year. The self-adhesive underlayment creates a watertight barrier by sealing to the roof deck and around nails.
WeatherMaster® Pro-Grade Ice & Water underlayment is self-adhesive and can be used either as primary underlayment or as flashing tape to provide a secondary water barrier. Its SBS-modified asphalt coating prevents moisture entry by sealing uniformly around nails.
The plastic film surface of WeatherMaster® Flexible Ice & Water self-adhesive underlayment provides skid resistance, allowing for better traction and safer installation. An SBS-modified, self-adhesive coating creates a watertight seal around nails.
WeatherMaster® Nailable roof underlayment is designed to be nailed to roof decking, rather than relying on peel-and-stick adhesive. The SBS-modified bitumen that sandwiches the glass-fiber-reinforced underlayment creates a watertight seal around nails.
The woven polyester top surface of WeatherMaster® Tile aggressively bonds with the foam adhesives used in tile roof installations and can withstand the weight of stacked tiles without slippage or damage to its membrane surface.
WeatherMaster® Ice & Water provides a secondary layer of waterproofing protection needed to help prevent damage from ice dams and wind-blown rain. These self-adhering modified-bitumen underlayments create a watertight barrier by sealing to the deck and around nails to provide continuous protection year after year.
